i think it was a ok ppv, there was a few points in the ppv that was silly, the cm punk rey mysterio match, edge and ortons match and the main event cena and batista. what im on about is two of the matches had blood in them and they stopped the match which i think did not help the ppv at all you can tell that the crowed did not like it and where starting to get frustrated. the other point was in edge vs randy match the ending was not planned because of randys injury, i think they could of made the ending better than what it was. The rest of the ppv was good.

For starters I really don't like it when WWE keep changing the names of their pay per views for no apparent reason, its pointless and has no purpose.

The 1st match on the card was Drew McIntyre vs Kofi Kingston for the Intercontinental Championship, this was a fairly good opener with a fair amount of time, the match was good because of the contrast in styles, they had a better match at Fatal 4 Way (another PPV WWE decided to change) Overall the right man won with a clean and decisive victory. ***

The 2nd match was Ted DiBiase vs R Truth, the storyline heading into this match was stupid but I had some high hopes with this match because of Ted DiBiase. However the major flaw of this match was the injury sustained by Ted DiBiase at the beginning of the match. Ted suffered a concussion in this match due to Ted being slapped in the face by R Truth, the match therefore was very awkward as a competitor was injured, the match carried on and they finished the match, it was a fair effort it would have been better if Ted wasn't injured **

The third match was a highly anticipated match between CM Punk and Rey Mysterio in a straight edge pledge vs hair match. It was obvious who was going to lose in this match however it started off fast paced and brutal, with the barbers chair being used as well as the ring barricade, because of this CM Punk was busted open and the officials had to stop the match for over a minute to control the blood loss. Fans booed and it spoilt the flow of the match and affected its edginess. However the match picked up again and overall was a very good match to end their feud. ***1/4

The unified tag team titles were on the line next as The Hart Dynasty defended against the team of The Miz and Chris Jericho. The match was good and showed the abilities of the Hart Dynasty. However it feels that The Miz and Chris Jericho were thrown together for no real purpose and they were not solidified as a proper tag team. The match had a decent amount of time and it was entertaining ***

The next match pitted randy orton against edge. In 2004 these two had a classic one on one match on the vengeance PPV. So WWE really wanted to re-create the magic from the match. It lasted 9 mins due to a legitimate shoulder injury, the match before the injury was slow and boring, it had no fast pace, the match was terrible, to see a greater match get vengeance 2004. This match gets **

World Heavyweight Title on the line next against The Big Show, I didn't have high expectations for this match but I thought it would be a fair effort. I assumed that it would have extra time due to the edge and orton match being cut short. I was wrong. The match just went passed the 5 minute mark and was a real disappointment. The result was a DQ which was another disappointment. The match was quite enjoyable though if it was longer and it was given a proper finish. **1/2

Then a divas match featuring eve and maryse, just a typical, boring divas match. Which had no rhythm or flow and the ending came out of nowhere. **

The final match was an I quit match featuring john cena and batista. It was obvious due to the fact that batista was due to leave WWE and John Cena never submits, the result was pretty obvious. The match was entertaining which featured announce tables, spots in the crowd and fighting with the cars on the ramp. The extreme rules match in my opinion was better however it was an entertaining scrap, and a good way to end the PPV. ***1/2

This PPV had an injury curse, Ted DiBiase, Orton received injuries, CM Punk and Cena were busted open in their matches which slowed the match down which spoilt them a bit, if you do not collect all the PPV's I would not reccomend this PPV it is one of the weakest of 2010, which is a shame really.

Drew McIntyre VS Kofi Kingston- 6,5/10: Bon match technique mais un peu court, dommage.

R-truth VS Ted Dibiase-6/10: Match moyen qui manque d'intensite mais reste convenable.

The Hart Dynasty VS Chris Jerciho et The Miz-8/10: Tres bon match par equipe.

5 Star just for the excellent "I Quit" match involving John Cena vs Batista. If you like Rey Mysterio then this is for you as well, he's not my cup of tea but I partly enjoyed his match with CM Punk.

Shame Randy Orton dislocated his shoulder but we are made aware of the dangers of professional wrestling at the start of each dvd so it shouldn't be too much of a critique of this PPV.

I would have enjoyed Jack Swagger & Big Show's match to be longer but it was still enjoyable. Reminded me of many Kurt Angle vs Big Show fueds over the years.

If you are feeling the 2010 PPV's then I would suggest this is one for you but any PPV after the usual Royal Rumble & Wrestlemania tag team does pale in comparison.

It caps off the John Cena/Batista 2010 fued very nicely and I wanted it from a completist viewpoint.

So far WWE has delievered PPV wise throughout 2010, however due to Randy Orton's injury in the hotly anticipated square off between himself and Edge, Over The Limit was destined to be a disappointment. With most of the other matches having little build up and therefore causing little excitement, and Big Show and Swagger poorly booked to end in a disqualification, you would think Over The Limit would not be worth picking up on DVD - however you would be wrong.

Despite its flaws, Over The Limit featured two truly entertaining matches. The main rivalries that kicked off 2010 for Raw and Smackdown both came to a dramatic close at Over The Limit, with CM Punk and Rey Mysterio having a sensational contest, resulting in the de-hairing of the Second City Saint. Not to be out-done, John Cena and Batista pulled out all the stops in a thoroughly entertaining match, which proved to be Batista's final bow. Was it as good as the I Quit Match from Breaking Point last year? Nowhere near, but I Quit Matches are almost always enjoyable.
Usually I would say two decent matches aren't enough to fork out a tenner, however Rey/Punk and Cena/Batista were definitely two of the best matches so far this year.

Also SilverVision have been very kind and started putting a whole host of DVD extras back on the PPV DVDs. Over The Limit features a historic, if not a bit hokey contest between Bret Hart and The Miz, as well hilarious commercials that featured on the commercial free edition of Raw this year - definitely for those of you who enjoyed the Wrestlemania 21 trailers.

Overall the PPV itself only has 2 matches that you would want to watch again, however the extras definitely boost Over The Limit into the "worth-the-buy" category.

It was literally Over The Limit
When John Cena threw Batista though the Entrance Stand.
That was the coolist thing I've ever seen.
More Cooler then when The Undertaker chokeslammed Mankind though The Hell in a Cell Roof at King of the Ring 1998

i watched this Monday 6:00 pm-9:pm and honestly i did not like this PPV one bit every result, i dodnt like but this is what i thought of the matches.

Intercontinental Championship Match
Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston
This match was Kofi Kingstons chance to take back what was rightfully his, i wanted Drew McIntyre to win but sadly Kofi became a 3 time Intercontinental champion, i didnt expect much from this match, so i wasnt expecting a good match.

Ted DiBiase vs. R-Truth
With Virgil in his corner, this made the you think if Virgil was going to do something to help Ted DiBiase, but never attacked R-Truth, but the match was not good, but Ted DiBiase will get his revenge, R-truth picked up the win, i wanted Ted DiBiase to win

S.E.S. Pledge vs. Hair Match
Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk
Now i expected CM Punk to pick up the win and Rey and Punk will face again at SummerSlam and the CM Punk gets shaved bald, but wasnt meant to be, even though i wanted CM Punk to win, he did look pretty funny with his head shaved, i think the only reason WWE mad CM Punk lose was so in SmackDown vs. Raw 2011, you can unlock CM Punks shaved head, like Mr.McMahon in SVR 2008, this match was electrifying, they had to stop the match for abit because CM Punks face got cut, but Punk got back in it, this match was a good match but i wanted Punk to win, so the ending made it dissapointing.

Unified Tag Team Championship Match
The Hart Dynasty vs. Chris Jericho & The Miz
The Hart Dynasty defending their very 1st Unified Tag Team titles against The Miz & Chris 'Y2J' Jericho, The Miz & Jericho were trying to win the Unified Tag titles to prove Chris Jericho was the leader of Jeri-Show and The Miz was trying to prove he was the leader of Sho-Miz, but The Hart Dynasty kept their Unified Tag titles, so i was not happy that Jeri-Miz lost, but the match was not good.

Randy Orton vs. Edge
Now this match is the reason i boocked this PPV, i would of boocked this PPV anyway, i always do, but this match was.......was dissapointing, Orton hurt his shoulder while punching the mat getting ready for the RKO, and this match ended up in a double count-out, so i was like ''what? oh come on'' i was really dissapointed, this match was between the members of Rated RKO, 1 of my favourite Tag Teams. this match was 3 years in the making, so thats why i was so excited for this match, i thought this match was gonna steal the show, but never, this match started off good, but ended up bad.

World Heavyweight Championship Match
Jack Swagger vs. Big Show
I wasnt expecting much from this match, if you have seen my previous reviews, you would know i like Jack Swagger, but i wanted Big Show to win, and he did, but on SmackDown you will not see Jack Swagger asking for a rematch, cause Big Show won by a disqualification, but this match wasnt the best World Heavyweigh Championship match ever, Swagger hit Show with the World Heavyweight title, so again i was dissapointed. (You might see the word ''Disapointed'' alot)

WWE Divas Championship Match
Eve vs. Maryse
In london at the O2 arena, Eve beat Maryse for the Divas title & Maryse wanted her title back, but wasnt able to win back her title, but that match was better than this match, tis match was slow, but sexy, what match is better than a Divas match? i wanted the lovely French-Canadian diva to win back her Divas title, but wasnt able to do it.

WWE Championship "I Quit" Match
John Cena vs. Batista
This match was the best match of the night, but ended up in dissapointment (Sorry), but good wrestling bu both men, this match was good, really good, maybe beter than i expected, now the scores between Cena & Batista is Batista 2, Cena 5 (If i'm not mistaken), Cena was asking Batista to say ''I Quit'' after doing The Attitude Ajustment on the car, but said ''NO'', then Cena said ''I was really hoping you would say that'', then got him in The Attitude Ajustment possition, Batista said ''I Quit, I Quit'' but still done The Attitude Ajustment form the top of the car to the floor, (If you remember The Great American Bash 2005, you would know that The Undertaker dont the last ride to Mohammed Hassan through the stage) it was sorta like that but from the top of a car, so i was dissaponted again (Sorry), But was a good match.

WWE Over The Limit was a new PPV replacing Judgment Day, strangely this was not a themed PPV but a new one none-the-less, so how did it go.

1. WWE Intercontinental Championship
Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Kofi Kingston

A great start with a fast paced and interesting contest, these two meshed well together even if this rivalry was rushed in its set-up. There was enough to keep audiences interested and hopefully a longer rivalry will emerge here. The match was fine but the aftermath jarred a bit with a slightly wierd whining from McIntyre and a slightly odd feeling backstage segment. Still the end result was a shock and a certain star appeared after to make fans happy. 3/5 (for the match)

2. Ted DiBiase vs R-Truth

A great suprise this was a very good match with top wrestling and fast and interesting moves. I love Dibiases new million dollar baby gimmick and its nice to see Virgil back. Both men came into their own here and delivered a match proving they have the potential. Again I was shocked at who won but the ending move was great, though I am not sure where DiBiase goes from here. 4/5

3. S.E.S Pledge vs. Hair match
Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk

The rubber match in this brilliant rivalry and thought it was good but a tad dissapointing, now don't get me wrong this lived up to main event billing but jarred slightly due to a long period where doctors treated CM Punk. However what led up to that point was a wince worthy moment, these two men closed their trilogy with a hard hitting and quite brutal match. Despite this pause of momentum the match picked up with a shockingly instantaneous finish, although the aftermath was just bizarre with a seemingly random appearence from Kane and a sequence which pleased fans but personally left me with an awkward feeling. Though this did not hurt the match and if this effort is these two stars worst, they have little to worry about. 4/5

4. WWE Unified Tag Team Championship
Chris Jericho & The Miz vs. The Hart Dynasty (c)

Putting the two superstars with the biggest egos together can be a winner and I am interested to see where Jeri-Miz go from here, this was an exceptional bout (though the fan reaction was tame) with great back and forth classic tag team action and technique. I think the Hart Dynasty could be WWEs elite team and really deserve the notority they are recieving and if there was any doubt this match vanquished it. I thought I knew who would win and in the end I was correct but the chaning momentum throughout made me question my prediction. These two teams meshed very well and I anticipate the Jeri-Miz teams development and hopefully a future rematch. 4/5

5. Randy Orton vs. Edge

This was potentially a show stealer, admit it we all looked forward to this (see their epic bout at Vengeance 04) but unfortunatly lady luck passed up on this with a legitimate injury halting the build up to a great match. This was not a match it was a half or even a third of a match which segwayed onto a rough finish which was unsatisfying but neccesary. So what was present was great to start but unfortunatly things stopped just as the bout had your pulse rate raising, I await a future contest. 2/5

6. WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Jack Swagger (c) vs. The Big Show

This match was fast and quite entertaining at times, with Big Show looking fantastic, however it was very one-sided and made Swagger look quite weak actually and things were not helped by a way too short time limit. Then theres the big flaw an extremely gut-punching and rubbish ending which ruined the match's successful heat. The aftermath helped very little as well. 2/5

7. WWE Divas Championship
Eve (c) vs. Maryse

Lets face it this is the match that fans really could not care less about and that critics would love to rip apart. In my view I expected an underwhelming performance following an array of abysmal divas PPV bouts (Royal Rumble, especially Elimination Chamber, Wrestlemania) but I saw this as a big improvement in the womens division. Maryse is improving her villain role and Eve is improving fast in the ring, she delivered a host of good manuevers and though the crowd were pretty quiet, this was suprisingly good. Maryse and Eve really helped bring a bit of respect back to this division and despite a short time limit these two fit in some great offense, including a unique finisher. 3/5

8. WWE Championship "I Quit" match
John Cena (c) vs. Batista

This was very dissapointing to be honest when considering these two's brilliant matches in their rivalry I expected an all out conclusion but this felt more like a string of stand out moments latched quickly together. In between the genuinly good stand out bits there was very little to see in terms of wrestling and it was way too short, especially for the main event. It was not horrible but I expected more from these two but the stand out moments and good finish helped equal out the predictable winner and mediocre in-ring action. 3/5 just.

So Over The Limit was a promising PPV that had some great moments but unfortunately failed or dissapointed in the worst possible places, namely the main events. Still Over The Limit is a worthy viewing for a couple of great matches. 3/5 On a side note it is nice to see WWE DVDs improving their extras.

WWE Over the Limit was a good PPV from WWE, there were some very enjoyable matches and featured one of the greatest matches of all time.
With that being said I will now give a full non-spoiler review:

Intercontinental Championship match: Drew Mclintyre VS Kofi Kingston-7/10
A good match to open the show, was enjoyable and featured lots of fast paced action.

R Truth VS Ted DiBase-6/10
This was a decent match, and was much better than most would have predicted. The two worked fairly well together and gave out an entertaining match.

Straight Edge Pledge Vs Hair Match: Rey Mysterio VS CM Punk-8/10
A very very good match from these two, it was very exciting and was non stop in action. These two worked great together and gave a brilliant match overall, and the ending was very good.

Unified WWE Tag Team Championship Match:
The Hart Dynasty VS The Miz & Chris Jericho-8/10
A great tag team match, was very exciting and all four did great things and gave a very exciting and enjoyable match.

Randy Orton VS Edge-7/10
This match was fairly disapointing as I felt that they were holding back alot, it was disapointing as I truly felt they could have produced an amazing match. Unfortunatly we didn't get that, but this match was still decent for what it was. A big problem with this match is the ending-which I felt was booked terribly and left me confused as to what happened which is annoying.

World Heavyweight Championship: Jack Swagger VS The Bid Show-5/10
Talk about a dissapointing match, this match was boring and pointless, it made Jack Swagger look like a joke and these two have proven they cant work well together.

Diva's Championship match: Eve VS Maryse: 6/10
This was actually a fairly enjoyable Divas match, and you can tell they both tried very hard to give a good match. It wasn't anything special but it was alrite and for a divas match it was actually very good and surprising.

WWE Championship
I Quit Match: John Cena VS Batista: 10/10
One of the greatest matches of all time, featured non stop brawling action, crazy spots and was truly brutal (proof that this can be done in the PG rating). Great match and one of the best i've seen and potentially the greatest I quit match ever.

Overall I enjoyed this PPV, it wasn't perfect and had its disapointments-Edge V Orton was good but not as good as it could have been and the world title match was just boring. So clearly it wasn't the perfect PPV but it was still a good one, and I must give a huge thank you to John Cena and Batista for giving one of the greatest matches ever.

I give the over the limit PPV an 7.5/10.
Thanks for reading and i hope this is of some help to you!
