WWE Fatal 4 Way is another brand new PPV in which all the major title matches are, you guessed it fatal 4 way matches. So how did it all go....

1. WWE Intercontinental Championship
Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

McIntyre has really evolved into a great heel, the fans were really into hating this guy and really behind Kofi in a great back and forth contest which started things off perfectly. Theodore Long's involvement was well played and only helped the villainous McIntyre continue his bullying tactics. There were a few highlights in this well fought match and though I knew who was going to win I really enjoyed this one and again this match proves McIntyre and Kingston have a great future, so way better than their last contest and a feel good ending. 4/5

2. WWE Divas Championship Fatal 4 Way
Eve (c) vs Maryse vs. Alicia Fox vs. Gail Kim

Nobody cared about this at all and the match did not help itsel because the competetors failed to build excitement. The action was pretty slow with a few botched moves and it was all quite sloppily put together really. Now I try to be fair and though some (mainly Kim and Fox) tried there best this was a forgettable squash which was mediocore at best. 2/5

3. Chris Jericho vs. Evan Bourne

This was the first case of fan attack because Jericho cut a fantastic in ring promo before the match, in which he basically told the truth and recieved massive cheers. In fact the crowd turned on Bourne and drowned his support with Y2J chants, it was wierd to see but in fairness Jericho is one of the best WWE has and deserved the acclaim. Now this was a last minute addition to the PPV but what a match Bourne has started his deserved push and Jericho confirmed his legendary status. The action was fast and furious and there were multiple counters. This match may have had a predictable finish but with wrestling this good it is hard to complain. Though I have a bad feeling we could be seeing the final days of Jericho's carrer, I hope I am wrong. 4/5

4. WWE World Heavyweight Championship Fatal 4 Way
Jack Swagger (c) vs. CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show

The match itself was swallowed up by the whole Kane's vengeance story (which I happen to like) however on its own merits this match was fine enough. Everyone had a chance to shine and there were one or two great moments as well as Kane's enevitable appearence. I have to say I thought the wrong guy won and I think Swagger looked really weak here again on PPV. Also the match at times slowed and some of the athletes seemed out of time. CM Punk had the standout factor here providing us with another great showing. So this match was safe, solid but nothing really special. 3/5

5. WWE United States Championship
The Miz (c) vs. R-Truth

The Miz is great on the microphone his pre-match rap was great fun and the match itself was good as well. I am glad to see R-Truth recognised as a great talent even though the fans again were wierdly on the Miz's side. Now the match offered good wrestling and a clean suprise finish but the problem was that there was nothing spectacular on offer. These guys played it safe and in effect lost some peoples interest and became forgettable as a result. However credit where credit is due these two tried and raised the match above what its rush job set up insinuated. 3/5

6. 6 person intergender tag
The Hart Dynasty vs. The Usos and Tamina

I am happy to see a new talented wrestling group and two excellent female wrestlers compete and this match was a good way for the Usos and Tamina to debut on PPV. They kept up with the champs and did a few fresh innovative moves to keep you interested. However I have to say that the end result has left me confused as to where they go from here. 3/5

7. WWE Championship Fatal 4 Way
John Cena (c) vs. Sheamus vs. Randy Orton vs. Edge

The fans were really into this and many were on Cena's back but still the match had an excitement factor and was probably the best fatal 4 way of the night. However I was a little dissapointed by how little happened, this had so much build up but was actually more safe as a match and the purpose only seemed to be to allow the NXT invasion angle to continue. In fact the only memorable part was who won, which was a massive shock to me but on a whole it was good as a match but slightly underwhelming as a main event. The aftermath was interesting and successfully built anticipation to toinights raw.

So Fatal 4 Way delivered on many levels but this definately felt like WWE were playing things safe with a lot of slapdash rivalries (the only strong rivalry was mcintyre v kingston I felt). Also the matches seemed to exist to only help hype up better or more interesting angles (NXT invasion and Kanes search for vengeance). Still this was not an awful night and is worth a viewing for a few shocks and two above average contests, I expect that Money in the Bank should be better. Though if you ask me I think that WWE are just concentrating on making Summerslam the culmination of these big rivalries - so come August expect something special. 3/5
