In your house 9 and 10 occured in july 1996 and september 1996 respectively,both events could be deemed acceptable,in short,both had some great matches and some that time should forget about,one of the most meaningless bouts ever can be found on in your house 10 when manager,jim cornetter fought old time wrestler and trainer jose lothario,this match lasted less than a minute and was so bad that i cant find the words to talk about it,mind you,these two old hands were in with some men in their prime who also failed to light up the room,but to be fair,for every bad match there was a good match,both ppvs feature the undertaker going up against goldust and both matches are good,shawn michaels and mankind served up a real classic in my eyes,the ending was cheap but this was a quality match.
Steve austin fought marc mero in possibly meros finest match that i have seen in a while and the bulldog and owen hart lock horns with the smokin gunns in a very good match also,savio vega and justin hawk fought a boring encounter with little or no class in it while you get the ppv debut of mark henry as he fights jerry lawler in a rotten match,a term that mark henry would soon hear thrown his way alot in the years that passed.
All in all this tagged classic is worth looking at,1996 wasnt a bad year for the company,these arent the best from the year,mania 12 and summerslam 1996 were very good indeed,these two events are passable.

In Your House 9 and 10 were two very strange events: the first one had to be adjusted after the suspension of the Ultimate Warrior a few weeks before the event. So we had a unique main event, a 6 men tag team war that saw Shawn Micheals bring Sid Vicious again to WWE after he powerbombed him straight to hell a few months back. Can Sid be trusted by HBK ? Or will the perfect and well oiled combo of the heels destroy everything at sight ? In the undercard, the Undertaker tried to obtain revenge against Goldust, who had beated him at the previous edition of IYH. Also Steve Austin and Marc Mero fought a revenge match of the King of The Ring 1997 tournament. But even more weird was the event knowns as IYH 10: ECW troups invaded the arena during the PPV, and two former WWE Superstars were rumored to be back despite having signed multi-millionary contracts with WCW only a few months back. A former wrestler from Texas laced up the boots again 16 years after his last match, and a fromer olimpyan powerlifter made his WWE debut. Finally Shawn Micheals tried to stop Mankind, who had an incredible winning streak leading to the event. The Undertaker and Goldust tried to put the word "end" to their rivalry
