this dvd will be awesome because it gives new wrestling fans some old school wrestling.

I think this dvd is a must have for any hardcore WCW fan because it has all the best moments from WCW nitro such as the start of the NWO. It has some realy good matches such as
Golberg vs Hollywood Hogan and the Triple cage match. The only downfall is that there are hardly any hardcore based or brawl based matches and there are realy only single matches and tag team matches.
The angles they put on were realy good such as the outsiders attacking rey mysterio and arn anderson with baseball bats along with all the other commotion going on.
Overall 8.4/10
I was really excited by the thought of this DVD set, despite my initial worries that this would be a very WWE-slanted production as many who have seen The Rise & Fall of WCW DVD may remember. Whether you liked WCW or Monday Nitro or you hated it, it did it's job of helping to create meaningful competition through unpredictable and groundbreaking methods and did help elevate the level of professional wrestling throughout the mid to late 1990's
For me personally, I enjoyed this DVD and got a kick out of watching some of the moments that I remember as a kid watching on Bravo TV and maybe some moments I wish I hadn't remembered. Where it fell flat and lost marks was the missing of some key moments and the loose structure it seemed to have. Still very much worth a gander and/or purchase.
